Hey there, I’m Lisa. I’ve been around A Blog Named Hero for a few years now, and absolutely love the friends I’ve made via our little crafty world. I’m currently living in Las Vegas, Nevada, but call Arizona home when we aren’t in Las Vegas. I’m married to a man that puts up with me, which is a neat thing. All he asks is that I keep him laughing, which I try to do. We are fortunate in that we get to travel quite a bit, yet we are both hankering for that to slow down so we can get a new puppy. I have been paper crafting since I was a child, I’ve always had a fondness for stationery and office supplies, and would gladly shop for school supplies for hours. You’ll find that I have a fondness for kraft paper, watercolor, heat embossing, and a clean and simple style. I look forward to seeing your entries into our challenges, and can’t wait to get started with our 2017 collaboration companies. I can assure you we’ve got some great partners lined up for next year!
Hi, I’m Jessica and I’m so excited to be returning to A Blog Named Hero for my third year and stepping up to help Lisa run the blog! So, a little about me for those of you who don’t know me. I live in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia with my incredibly supportive husband, two senior shelties, a tortoiseshell cat, and a senior bunny. I am a professional musician by day and a paper crafter by night (or really early morning)! I enjoy creating cards for my friends and family and I can often be found coloring images or embossing a sentiment in-between lessons and gigs! I love experimenting with new techniques and mediums and I usually can’t resist adding a little extra sparkle to all of my cards and projects! 😉 Being a part of this team has been one of the highlights of my crafting journey for the last three years and I hope to be a part of it for many years to come!
Hello everyone, I am super excited to be joining the wonderful and talented group of designers that make up the A Blog Named Hero design team for 2017. My name is Coralynn and I have been a paper crafter since 2011. I started out with Close to My Heart and was a demonstrator for about a year. After that I started my design team journey with Butterfly Reflections Ink and haven’t looked back. I am married to my wonderful husband for 13 years but we’ve been together for over 22. We have two beautiful daughters, 8 & 12 (wow, that’s hard to believe!) along with three dogs and two cats.

Hello, my name is Donna Idlet and I am so excited about being on A Blog Named Hero’s design team! Who doesn’t love Hero Arts stamps? I know I do.For my first post I am using the Celebrate Tag Stamp and Cut set to introduce myself and say “Hello” to everyone. I am no stranger to Hero Arts products. I have been using their stamps for many years and also have been a stamper for many years. My passion is card-making, but I also love scrapbooking, traditional and digital. I also love photography. I so enjoy sharing my craft with others and I hope that I can/have inspired you in some way.
Hello! I’m Emily Midgett! I’m so very excited to be here with such talented company! A bit about me: I’m a stay-at-home-momma/referee to our 3 year old twins, wife to my redhead, and laundress-in-chief, but in a past life I was a professional voice teacher with a Masters of Music. These days, my singing is relegated to the car or singing along with Wild Kratts. I’ve been “crafty” for as long as I can remember. I have always made jewelry, dabbled in watercolor, cake decorating, etc, etc, etc, and our wedding was definitely a DIY wedding (right before Pinterest exploded, so I had to just be creative based on wedding magazine articles! The horror!) … Our wedding is where my papercrafting obsession began. I wanted to make my own thank you notes, since obviously nothing from the store was sufficient. I started with some rubber stamps, a Cricut, and some patterned paper from Hobby Lobby, and my interest/obsession has only grown over the last seven years. I’ve been lucky to be on design teams for The Ton, Where Creativity Meets C9, and Butterfly Reflections, Ink, and I’m so thrilled to be joining the super-talented team at A Blog Named Hero!
Hello! I’m honored and excited to be joining the A Blog Named Hero Design Team. I am a stay at home mom of 4 kids (ages 12, 10, 7 and 2), a cat and dog. I moved with my family from Alberta, Canada to Texas a few years a go. I have been stamping and card making for as long as I can remember. After I moved I started blogging to find inspiration, meet other card makers, join in challenges and take online classes. You can find my blog here and you can find me on Instagram my username is kellyszafron.
Hello! My name is Kimberly Rendino. I’m so excited to be joining the A Blog Named Hero design team for 2017! I live with my husband, 15 year old son, 13 year old daughter and two cats in (snowy) central NY. I substitute for several schools within our school district part time, so on days I’m not called to work, chances are I’m crafting! My style is varied, but I LOVE bright colors – it’s rare that you’ll see me use pastels! You can find me over at my blog, Kimplete Kreativity, or on Instagram!
I’m a wife to a computer/math whiz and a mother to four young children, ages 12, 10, 6 and 3. I graduated from college as a registered dental hygienist, but since starting a family, I have become more of a stay-at-home mom and work only one morning per week at the dental office. In the ever changing world of dentistry, it’s good to keep up-to-date on technology advancements, so I keep my foot in the door at a practice I absolutely love!
As a family, we tend to lean toward activities involving the great outdoors. Before children, my husband and I backpacked a lot, often visiting the Great Smoky Mountains and recent events have touched our hearts! These days, we take our children hiking and biking. My husband and I are runners, so enjoy local running trails as much as the Midwest weather permits.
My creative journey began as a child. I was drawn to all things creative, including doodling, tracing, coloring, creative writing (especially poetry) and used my youngest brother for my earliest attempts at photography. It was in college that some friends introduced me to card making and scrapbooking. I dabbled with both, but it was when my husband and I finished up our college days and relocated to Eastern Iowa that I got a little more serious. It was there that I met a card making gal who was into StampinUp! at the time. My design style evolved from putting everything possible on a card front to being very selective in what elements I chose to include. These days, my card making style is very much clean and simple (CAS) and I absolutely love it! You’ll find me managing the CASology challenge blog, sharing creative work over at Inked Regards, my website, and playing with photography as I venture into a family photography business!
You can follow me on Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook and my blog. You can also find me over at Splitcoast Stampers. If you’re interested in my photography, you are most welcome to follow me on the corresponding Instagram & Facebook pages as well as my photography website, Emotional Lens Photography.
Firstly, I’m an Aussie. My day job is as a teacher – I teach biology to tertiary students. I also sing in a couple of choirs, and I am in a book club. And I make cards – I have done so for a long time, but I have blogged about it since 2011, shortly after which I discovered the wonderful worldwide community of stampers and card-makers out there! My style has evolved over the years, but right now, I love stamping, along with rainbows, watercolouring, flowers, stencils, and the colour blue (and the oxford comma – certified nerd, right here). I’m a CAS card-maker, with occasional forays into not-so-clean and definitely-not-simple. I’ve been with A Blog Named Hero since 2013, and I also coordinate the Facebook page for A Blog Named Hero, so please be sure to visit and say hello to our wonderful Facebook Design Team.

Hi everyone ! My name Is Tracy aka Inkyfingers and Ribbon and I am SUPER excited to be part of the A Blog Named Hero Team.
Like all my fellow teamies I have a huge passion for all things Hero Arts. My first ever stamp set was Hero Arts over 15 years ago and thanks to them my love of stamping developed.
I have been crafting for most of my life and have always been obsessed with paper, but I got into paper crafting 15+ years ago. I did have a break for a few years due to life taking a different turn but now thanks to an extremely supportive and encouraging husband I get to craft until my heart is content.
I am mainly a card maker but do dabble in home decor and sometimes mixed media…although not as much as I used to. My style is very much Clean & Simple and I love all things floral and cute.
I love being part of the crafting community and you will often find me over on my Instagramaccount chatting to lots of fellow crafters.
You can also find me over on my blog- Inkyfingersandribbon.
