I love fall my crafty friends – what about you? This month’s challenge is all about a beautiful fall color palette and I am back with another card design to share.
In case you forgot, here is a little reminder of the color scheme – so rich and beautiful. You can see my previous card here for additional inspiration.
This card was fun to make – lots of ink, some shimmer spray and gold embossing powder. OH MY!
Using a piece of Arches Coldpress Watercolor paper, I smooshed Rusty Hinge, Vintage Photo, Seedless Preserves, Tea Dye and Fire Brick distress inks all over the paper in a random order. In a small spray bottle I mixed Perfect Pearls and water and misted the paper until all the colors blended nicely. Leaving the panel to dry, I stamped my leaves with Versamark ink onto vellum and heat set with gold embossing powder. Using the coordinating dies, I cut out my images.
The inked panel, once dried, I rubbed the Versamark ink pad on the edges, stamped my sentiment and heat embossed all with gold powder. Adhering the panel to a side folding notecard with craft foam, I arranged my leaves and added twine for some interest. Scattered across the card, are gold sequins for sparkle!
Thank you for stopping by and I do hope to see your creations this month!
