Recently, Hero Arts released a product called liquid watercolor. Initially, I was a skeptic, but during the month of April, I received a bottle of it in the Hero Arts My Monthly Kit and was hooked! This card reminded me of a sunshine hug!
Watercolor has a mind of its own. This makes working with the medium fun for me (although at times frustrating!). I knew I wanted some color spotlight for my flower. Starting with a piece of watercolor paper, I randomly wet an area with clean, clear water. From high above, I hovered my eyedropper filled with Dandelion Liquid Watercolor and release the color onto my paper. The splatter results are stunning. I set the panel aside to dry.
Once the panel was dried naturally, I black heat embossed the sentiment from the Hand Drawn stamp set. Using craft foam, I adhered the panel to a top folding note card. For added interest and sparkle, I added some confetti sequins to the project.
